The Polaroid wordpress template has been ported to blogger by eblogtemplates. Now take a look at the screen shot of the header area of the skin. The top right has the feed and comments rss subscription links, do not forget to put in your own feed URL here from the page elements menu. The header is absolutely unique with the ability of having an image in the center integrated in a Polaroid frame with two text boxes on either side of it.
You can probably have one box to describer your site and the other could be the about me. The blog has three colors which helps it not to be to glittery, a nice grey strip runs just below the header that has all the links required to browse through the main categories or pages of your site. These links can be changed to suit your requirements from the Edit Html section in your blogger dashboard. Search for these links and replace the # with the links you would like. You can also change the text like About Me etc.
The top of the right hand side bar has three 125*125 boxes which are perfect to host your advertisements or recommended money makers.
One very noticeable feature is the main column and the sidebars are equally proportionate, hence there is a lot of space in the sidebars. Under the three ad units your sidebar divides into two, where you can have either your link lists, recent comments and recent articles that come built in with this template. For the blog archives to display properly you will need to change the Archive Style from your page elements to Flat list as shown in the image below.
Just above the footer, you have your recent visitors list, that is already incorporated in the sidebar., where you can insert your Mybloglog code or your Blog catalog widget Below that is a flickr stream that is another beautiful feature of the Polaroid Blogger template.

You need to go to settings edit html and then tick the expand button
once thats done look for the error
The new widget with id "Header" has an invalid type: Header10
When you find
<b:widget id='Header' locked='true' title='RSS Subscribe' type='Header10'>
change it to
<b:widget id='Header2' locked='true' title='RSS Subscribe' type='Header'>
when you hit save again it will ask you to confirm and then show you another error
The new widget id "Ad_Spots" is invalid for type: HTML
look for Ad_Spots you find
<b:widget id='Ad_Spots' locked='false' title='125x125 Ad Spots' type='HTML'>
change it to
<b:widget id='HTML12' locked='false' title='125x125 Ad Spots' type='HTML'>
for the next "Recent-Posts-Widget" is invalid for type: Feed
change Recent-Posts-Widget to Feed(Unique Number) like Feed22 and so on and so forth...this should solve all the problems :)

i followed the instructions but still wont let me in..
@ xiao_mai - Hey, you can download the template again, am sure it will work this time. Simply download the theme again and use it for your blog, without making any changes. :) dnt forget to take a back up of ur current theme.
How to I change the Polaroid picture to my own?

to change the puppy pic, look for puppy.png in your edit html and replace that url with the image you would like to put up there....

I just came across this and I love it! But everytime I download the template the comment link does not work! I don't know what to do! Helllp!
